We’re About to Have a (Cloud) Field Day with Data Management as a Service (DMaaS)
Enterprises of all sizes are quickly realizing they need to be proactive and smart in how they manage their data, particularly by making sure their data is secure, protected from today’s threats, and can be recovered rapidly on a moment’s notice. I’m thrilled to announce we’re participating in Cloud Field Day 13 on February 17th from 1:00 – 3:00 pm PT, where I and a team of Commvault and Metallic experts will join the best independent thought leaders in enterprise cloud for 2 hours of rock-‘em, sock-‘em technical deep dives, debates, and of course demos.
As Metallic’s CTO, I’ll be leading the discussion on managing data across newly adopted hybrid cloud environments and SaaS applications. I’ll be joined by Commvault’s Vice President of Products, Ranga Rajagopalan, who will cover Intelligent Data Services and how they can span beyond just data protection to data security, data compliance, data transformation, and more.
Completing the trifecta will be our security expert and Sr. Director of Metallic Products and Strategy, Indu Peddibhotla. He’ll join us to tackle topics like ransomware detection, recovery, and security in the cloud. We’ll also answer questions about our Metallic portfolio and how you can use one software platform to protect and manage everything from VMs and Containers to Office 365, Active Directory, and beyond. Our demonstration guru, Michael Przybos, will also be on hand to provide the all-important customer view to our delegates.
